Description

An all-over embroidered Pashmina shawl worked on a golden yellow ground. The field is covered in fine white Sozni needlework, a trailing floral vine drawn close across the whole cloth with small flowering booti set between the runs.

The vinework is hand-embroidered in matt ivory thread, its raised grain sitting clear against the smooth ground, and slim striped bands frame the ends where the pattern meets the border. The needlework stays fine and even from field to edge.

Hand-embroidered on handwoven Ladakhi Pashmina, it keeps the fine, even grain of pure Pashmina throughout, finished with a self-fringe along the ends.
