Our story begins in Kolkata, 1881, in the hands of a patriarch whose discerning eye and unwavering principles laid the foundation of a house now four generations strong.

He elevated the art of Pashmina, turning fine threads into heirlooms of integrity and enduring mastery. What began as a devotion to exceptional fibres became a family legacy shaped by patience, precision, and quiet excellence.

Those first hands wove more than exquisite shawls; they wove trust. Every piece carried a promise: a covenant of skill, dedication, and artistry made to endure beyond a single generation.

What began with visionary hands, a quiet devotion to integrity and excellence, turned rare fibers into heirlooms meant to be kept. Today, that living legacy travels the world: a family's craft of trust, quality, and artistry, passed on thread by thread. As we launched Veave Lore, an online retail division for the domestic as well as the global markets, ours has been a story of looking within, exploring the needs and demands of the people around us, and catering to them in the most seamless way possible. We aim to strengthen the connection between the artist and the audience, the weaver and the consumer, as mere middlemen helping their craft to be seen.
