Skilled weavers in Srinagar carefully work with three colors on a traditional Kashmiri loom. The fine twill weave shows the strength of pure Ladakhi fleece from the Changthangi goat. There are no shortcuts, only genuine warmth from high-altitude wool. The muffler is finished with a neat self-fringe and a small artisan mark, hand-embroidered, that shows its handmade quality.
