Scarlet Vow takes its name from the colour of intention, the red worn at weddings and beginnings. The deep scarlet ground glows warm, and the tonal embroidery sits within it rather than against it, so the paisley emerges slowly as the light moves. It is a piece made to mark an occasion.

The stole is woven from pure wool on precision looms, then hand embroidered in Kashmir using the fine Sozni technique. A large corner paisley anchors the design, with a trailing floral vine drawn in tonal red and amber thread. A knotted self fringe finishes each end.

Scarlet Vow suits brides, gifting and celebration. It drapes softly over the shoulders or the head, carries the warmth of pure wool, and arrives ready to give. Each piece is hand worked in small batches by fair wage artisans in Kashmir.
