Description

Natural sand-toned Pashmina set with small violet buti — soft mauve sprigs in even rows across the body — and edged with an ornate border of plum, sage, and gold vine. Banafsha is the Urdu word for the violet flower; the buti carry exactly its dusty, muted purple against the warm ground.

Pure Pashmina from Ladakh's Changthangi goat — gathered above 14,000 feet at the spring moult, left in its natural fibre tone. Woven in Srinagar in fine twill, then worked by a sozni karigar — violet buti across the body, multi-colour vine along the border. A self-fringe finishes the edge.

Muted single-tone buti on a natural ground is among Kashmir's most wearable registers — quiet enough for everyday, refined enough for occasion. The dusty violet reads vintage rather than bright, the ornate border lifting the whole. Cruelty-free fibre, fair-wage karigars, signed by the master.
