Description

A booti-embroidered Pashmina shawl worked on a soft sage green ground. The field is left open and scattered with small floral sprigs in fine Sozni needlework, each motif spaced well apart across the cloth.

The sprigs are worked as little flowering bunches in matt blush and green thread, their raised grain sitting clear against the smooth green. The ends carry a pale cream border, a fine woven stripe overlaid with a running floral vine in soft green and blush Sozni, framing the open field.

The palette holds a muted green field, blush-and-green needlework, and a cream border, kept quiet throughout. Hand-embroidered on handwoven Ladakhi Pashmina, it keeps the fine, even grain of pure Pashmina from edge to edge, finished with a self-fringe along the ends.
