Aatish-o-Khaak features a deep, commanding crimson on one side and a rich, sun-baked terracotta on the other, reflecting the ancient earth of Kashmir in autumn. These two vibrant colours, born from the same inspiration, create a shawl of remarkable distinction.

Handcrafted in Srinagar, the centre of Kashmiri weaving heritage, this pure Pashmina shawl is made from the rare undercoat of the Changthangi goat, which endures the high-altitude cold of Ladakh. This environment produces a fibre that is exceptionally fine, warm, and soft, making the shawl both lightweight and comfortable against the skin. Each strand is hand-combed, hand-spun, and hand-woven by artisans whose expertise is passed down through generations.

The Do Rukha weave, a traditional Kashmiri technique, gives this shawl its reversible design. Recognised as one of the most challenging handloom achievements, it requires the weaver to manage two sets of warp threads on a pit loom, one for each colour. The result is a flawless fabric with no visible seams, colour bleed, or wrong side. This luxury Pashmina shawl offers two complete and impeccable looks in one piece.
