This fiber is hand-combed from the Changthangi goats extraordinarily soft undercoat. The goat grows its fleece through the frozen months on the high Changthang plateau of Ladakh. The center of the shawl rests in warm, natural beige—unhurried and grounding. It feels like sunlight on stone. Along the edges and ends, woven stripes move in a soft, rhythmic sequence: teal, blush pink, lavender, coral, and cool grey. These colors do not shout but shimmer. Every stripe is woven into the structure of the fabric itself—not printed or surface-treated, but born from the loom with patience and precision.
