The restraint here is the luxury. A natural undyed ground, the fibre in its own soft colour, carries a full field of white embroidery worked so close to the base tone that the whole shawl reads as one quiet surface until you look again.

Every paisley and vine is hand-embroidered in fine Sozni, white thread tracing an unbroken jaal from edge to edge. Covering a shawl this completely is months of needlework, one artisan holding a single design across the entire cloth.
