A deep teal field, this oversized Pashmina shawl is edged with a fine border in gold and jewel tones, worked in a small floral lattice, with a paisley motif set into the corner. The warm gold of the border glows against the cool peacock blue of the ground.

The border and corner paisley are hand-embroidered in Sozni over a handwoven base of pure Ladakhi Pashmina dyed a rich teal. Each tiny motif is placed by hand, one stitch at a time. At oversized dimensions it wraps fully around the shoulders and falls long, finished with fine fringed ends.
