Atish-e-Shafaq is that proclamation, spun into the most exquisite Pashmina Ladakh offers.

Handcrafted in Srinagar, the historic heart of Kashmiri heritage weaving, this ombré Pashmina stole is woven from the most delicate undercoat of the Changthangi goat. The fiber is hand-combed with care from animals raised at extreme altitudes on the Changthang plateau in Ladakh. There, the cold is not a hardship but a condition of quality, producing a fleece of warmth and softness that the rest of the world has spent centuries reaching toward. The stole opens at the shoulder in a deep, saturated crimson red, the colour of a Kashmir chinar leaf at the height of autumn, the colour of absolute conviction. From there, the gradient descends with total authority through warm vermillion and into a rich, burnt orange at the hem. These two colours belong to the same family of fire, moving between each other with the seamlessness of a flame finding its own form. The dye is worked into the Pashmina fiber at its core, so the gradient does not sit on the surface but permeates the fabric.
