Crafted from 100% pure Ladakhi Pashmina fibre, sourced from the Changthangi goat on the high-altitude plateaus of Ladakh, this shawl is the result of a full year of devoted Sozni hand embroidery by the master craftsmen of Srinagar. The natural ivory base is luminous and still. It is a ground of pure light that does not ask for attention, but instead gives everything to what blooms upon it.

The embroidery on this shawl is remarkable. It features an all-over Sozni Jamawar design. Fine needlework covers the entire surface, continuing seamlessly from border to centre and back. Large paisley forms sweep across, reminiscent of a master calligrapher's strokes. Between them, floral compositions burst with full roses, scattered blossoms, curling vines, and intricate botanical details. Each design is stitched using the finest Sozni work, with the ivory background glowing through delicate openings. The vibrant palette includes hot pink, burnt orange, teal blue, soft lavender, olive green, mustard gold, blush pink, and coral, each colour thoughtfully placed.
