Description

The ground is a field of mixed threads — Pink, Blue, Green, Orange, and Purple — all hand-dyed and woven together on a traditional Kashmiri loom. The surface looks like a garden from above. No single colour dominates. Each thread sits next to another, and the eye reads them as a whole. The texture is slightly nubby from the mix of colours. Not flat. Not smooth. Alive.

The fibre is pure Pashmina from Changthangi goats in Ladakh. The weave is a tight twill with a dense sett. The fringe carries all the colours — pink tips, blue tips, green tips — because the threads run straight to the edge and finish there. No separate fringe added.

It drapes light. The weight is what you expect from real Pashmina — enough to hold warmth, light enough to wear all day. The colours shift when you move. One angle reads pink. Another reads blue. That is what happens when you weave many colours together rather than printing one on top of the other.
