Description

The ground is Cream at the ends. The body is a field of horizontal bands — Orange, Blue, Pink, Lavender, and Grey — each band carrying a herringbone weave that catches light differently. The colours are hand-dyed and woven in by changing weft threads. No print. No overlay.

The fibre is pure Pashmina from the Changthangi goat of Ladakh, handwoven in Srinagar on a traditional Kashmiri loom. The herringbone in each band sits slightly raised, so the surface has a texture you can feel. The ends of the cream are plain twill with an even surface that frames the colour.

It drapes light. The weight is what you expect from real Pashmina — enough to hold warmth, light enough to wear all day. The fringe is self-finished in natural cream.

This is a shawl for days when you need colour without chaos. The bands are wide, not busy. Each colour gets its own space.
