Description

Anaar is the Persian word for pomegranate, the fruit whose deep red skin opens onto a hundred jewel-like seeds. This handwoven stole works the same way, fine melange stripes of emerald, magenta, purple and gold gathered within a deep maroon border. Rich, warm, and full of life.

The stole is handwoven in Srinagar on a traditional Kashmiri loom from pure Ladakhi Pashmina. Each variegated stripe is woven into the cloth, colour by colour, not printed or embroidered. Light and softly structured, it drapes close and warms without weight.

A fine, many-coloured melange like this is patient work at the loom, where every shade shifts thread by thread. Made in small batches by fair-wage artisans, this is everyday luxury with real depth and warmth, a piece that glows richer the closer you look.
