Description

The colour is grey. Not silver, not charcoal. A solid mid-grey that holds light without throwing it back. The fibre is pure Pashmina from the Changthangi goat of Ladakh, handwoven in Srinagar on a traditional Kashmiri loom. The weave is a tight twill with a raised herringbone texture — you can trace the diagonal ribs with your fingers. They catch light differently depending on how the stole falls across your body.

It is thick. Warm like the blankets but cut to wrap. The weight sits on your shoulders and stays there. You do not need to keep adjusting it. The fringe is self-finished — the loom made it, not a separate process. The edges carry a slight fuzz. That is the natural bloom of handspun fibre.

This is a stole for cold days. The grey goes with everything and nothing at the same time. That is the point. You can wear it over black, over cream, over colour. It does not compete. It anchors.
