Handcrafted in Srinagar, the historic heart of Kashmiri heritage weaving, this check Pashmina shawl is drawn from the finest Ladakhi Pashmina fiber — hand-combed from the remarkably soft undercoat of the Changthangi goat, which endures some of the most extreme cold on earth across the Changthang plateau of Ladakh, developing a fleece of unmatched warmth and fineness in response. Across the entire body of the shawl, a compact gingham check in deep charcoal black and warm olive khaki is woven with extraordinary consistency — every square perfectly formed, every intersection clean and precise, the two tones balanced so exactly it feels almost architectural.
