Description

A warm dove grey ground carries an all over Kalamkari garden, where pink, red, green and blue florals scatter across the cloth around a flowering boteh at the front. Fine green piping runs the placket, while a mandarin collar and hand knotted buttons close the front. Against the soft ground, the colour reads as gentle and refined.

The waistcoat is cut from Pure Kashmiri Pashmina, light against the skin yet warm in the layer. Across it, the floral field is worked entirely by hand, thread upon thread of colour that takes an artisan weeks to complete and gives the cloth its heirloom depth.
