Description

A black ground carries an ordered field of upright floral butas, each pomegranate bloom worked by hand in deep red and gold Kalamkari, the needle drawn like a pen across the cloth. A matched floral border frames the front edges, the mandarin collar and the hem.

The colour is festive but controlled, red and gold lifting cleanly off the black, the rows even from shoulder to hem. Every buta and every length of border is hand-embroidered, the mark of long hours by a single artisan.
