Description

A two-tone grey Pashmina towel woven on the loom, the colour blocked from a soft ash grey into a deep charcoal across its length. Both shades are set into the cloth in the weaving.

The face is worked in raised pile against flat woven ground, the loops laid in broad bands and blocks so the texture carries the design. Twill and flat weave settle at the ends and show the base cloth, closed with a knotted fringe.

Both greys sit in one family, ash deepening to charcoal across the length. Handwoven from Ladakhi Pashmina, the cloth stays light and warm with a soft, deep handle.
