Description

One face is Beige. Solid and quiet, with a soft surface that evenly catches light. The other face is a vertical rhythm of Charcoal and Cream stripes, running from top to bottom in alternating bands. Both are the same cloth. You just turn it inside out.

The fibre is pure Pashmina from the Changthangi goat of Ladakh, handwoven in Srinagar on a traditional Kashmiri loom. The stripe face is built by changing weft colours at precise intervals. No print. No overlay. The charcoal bands are dense and sit slightly heavier than the cream bands, so the striped side has a subtle texture under your fingers. The beige face is plain twill with an even surface that falls softer and smoother than the striped side.

It is thick. Warm like the blankets but cut to wrap. The weight holds it on your shoulders without slipping. The fringe is self-finished natural cream, with a beige face, visible along both edges when reversed. The charcoal stripes are hand-dyed and set against the natural cream weft. It is woven in, not applied after.
