Description

One side is Beige, solid and quiet like dry earth. The other side shows a landscape in blocks: Ochre and Gold at the top, Slate Blue at the bottom, with Cream bands in between. Both sides are the same cloth—just reversed.

This stole is made from pure Pashmina, sourced from the Changthangi goat in Ladakh and handwoven in Srinagar on a traditional Kashmiri loom. The pattern comes from changing the weft colours in wide bands, not from printing or overlays. The Ochre blocks feel dense and warm, while the Blue blocks are cooler and settle differently in the weave because the dyed yarn holds tension in its own way. The Beige side is a plain twill with an even surface that drapes softly.

It is thick and warm like a blanket, but shaped to wrap around you. Its weight keeps it in place on your shoulders. The fringe is self-finished in natural Cream, showing on both sides when you reverse it. The colour blocks on the patterned side are woven into the fabric, not added later.

This stole is for anyone who wants both earth and sky in one piece. Choose the Beige side for quiet days, or the patterned side for more colour. Both sides were woven together on the loom.
