Description

The ground is Beige. Warm and quiet. Over it runs a grid of Cream lines — horizontal and vertical — woven in by changing weft and warp threads on a traditional Kashmiri loom. No print. The grid is part of the weave. The cream lines sit slightly raised against the beige ground, so the surface has a texture you can trace with your fingers.

The fibre is pure Pashmina from the Changthangi goat of Ladakh, handspun and handwoven in Srinagar. The weave is fine twill. Light. The drape is soft — it falls close to the body and moves with you. The fringe is self-finished in natural cream.

This is a staple for days when you need structure without weight. The grid adds order. The beige keeps it quiet. It goes with everything because it does not try to stand out.
