Crafted from 100% pure Ladakhi Pashmina fibre, this luxury Kashmiri Pashmina shawl is sourced from the Changthangi goat on the high-altitude plateaus of Ladakh. It is the product of a full year of patient, devoted Sozni hand embroidery. The Sozni technique is the most demanding of Kashmir's needle arts. It is worked with a single fine needle, no hook, no shortcut. Each motif is built thread by thread in delicate, sparse strokes that allow the base fabric to breathe beneath.

The Jamawar border is anchored by a procession of magnificent standing paisley (boteh) motifs—each paisley tall, arching, and regal, depicted with precise, needle-fine Sozni embroidery. Beneath this row, expansive Jamawar bands display grand, curling paisleys marked by spiral tips, intricate floral stars with radiating petals, scrolling vines that interlace between bands, and layered botanical forms featuring overlapping leaves and blossoms, all contributing to a masterclass of traditional Kashmiri design. The plain crimson centre field remains purposefully untouched, its vast, serene expanse amplifying the border’s embroidered proclamation.
